Dear lovers of luxury, travel, and fragrance,

We’ve always believed fragrance is more than something you wear – it is something you carry with you. A quiet companion through adventures of all kinds, through airports and hotel rooms, through beginnings and goodbyes.

Parfum Par Avion began, quite literally, in a suitcase. When we first met, Dan was preparing to travel overseas for five weeks. Steffi filled small plastic vials with some luxury fragrances for Dan to take on his journey, along with some handwritten letters closed with a wax seal: ways to stay connected, no matter the distance.

Each fragrance became a postcard of a moment: one for take-off, one for late nights in a new place, one for homecoming. It was a ritual that turned travel into memory and fragrance into a love letter.

However, in this, Dan discovered how difficult it can be to travel with fragrance in a luxurious and functional way. His bottles leaked, they fell to the bottom of his toiletry bag and were difficult to find and use.

Upon return, Dan and Steffi got to talking about what they’d do differently if they had the chance…and Parfum Par Avion was born, a collection for those who find beauty in movement, romance no matter the distance, and meaning in the small, exquisite details of travel.
